Shirley is survived by her 3 daughters: Linda, wife of Jerry Rush of Sarasota, FL, Bonnie Schnell of BelAir, MD, and Coni, wife of Michael Gerhart of Ephrata, PA and 6 grandchildren: Jason Rush, Chris, Laura, and Kim Schnell, and Adam and Jaime Gerhart. Beside her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her twin brother Charles and older brother Richard. In Ephrata, a family visitation will be held from 6 to 7 pm Tuesday, July 6th followed by a memorial service at the Ephrata Church of the Brethren, 201 Crescent Avenue. In Lehighton, funeral services will be held at the Ovsak Funeral Home, 4th and Iron Streets at 11am on Wednesday, July 7th. A viewing will precede that service starting at 10am. Shirley and her family have been touched by the compassionate and dedicated hospital staff.
