Robert L. Yanero, 77, of 173 South 1st St., Lehighton passed into eternal rest on Sunday, June 27th at The Summit Nursing & Rehab. Ctr., Lehighton. He was the husband of the late Marjorie Marie Smith Yanero. Born in Palmerton, Pa. he was the son of the late Lee & Marlea Brelsford Yanero. He served our country with the Pennsylvania National Guard with over 23 years of service attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. Prior to retirement, Bob was employed as a sewing machine mechanic for Bishop Mills of Weissport, and Barson Mills of Palmerton and most recently was employed in the maintenance department of Big Boulder Lakes. He was a member of Bethany EC Church, Lehighton, The Lehighton American Legion Post 314, Lehighton Orioles Nest #183, & Beaver Run Rod & Gun Club. A dog lover, Bob loved spending time with his dog Britney as well as serving as a rescuer of canines. Surviving is a son Cameron Yanero and his wife Tammy of Lehighton, a daughter Kim Marie wife of Bill Leitzel of Weedville, Pa. 2 granddaughters, & a great-grandson. Services & Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
