Subject: Spohn Obt. Eva J. Spohn, 79, of Millers Road, Zion Grove, Pa., formerly of Lehighton Pa. passed into eternal rest on Monday, June 14th at St. Luke’s Manor, Hazleton. She was the wife of the late William Spohn. Born in Strauss Valley, Mahoning Township, she was a daughter of the late Emery & Susan Cerny Nothstein. Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the garment industry as a trimmer/spreader for the Roselle and also the Barson Mills. She was a member of St. John’s Church, Mahoning Valley, Pa. She is survived by 2 daughters, Patricia wife of George Kattner of Jim Thorpe, Darlene wife of Wayne VanBlargan, 1 sister, Marion Papinsick of Utica, New York, 3 Grandchildren, 2 Greatgrandchildren, Nieces & Nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Edward & Nelson Nothstein. The funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
