Helen S. Weidman, 89, of 251 Ore Street, Bowmanstown, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Brookmont Healthcare Center, Effort, Pa. She was the widow of the late Robert Weidman & the late Luther Weiss. Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late Francis & Minnie Roesch Everett. Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the garment industry by Blue Ridge Sporstwear and other various garment mills in the area as a sewing machine operator. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Bowmanstown, The Palmerton Over 60 Club, and the Chestnut Seniors of Kunkletown. Surviving are two daughters, Nancy wife of Kenneth Higgins of Lehighton, Sally wife of David Schwartz of Palmerton, 6 Grandchildren, 5 Greatgrandchildren, 1 Niece. She was preceded in death by 1 sister Evelyn Sheckler. The funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
