Marilyn M. Everett, 79, of 624 White Street, Bowmanstown, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at St. Lukes Hospital, Bethlehem, Pa. She was the wife of the late Lester A. Everett. Born in Bowmanstown, Pa. she was the daughter of the late Delmas & Ida Rehrig. Marilyn was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Bowmanstown where she devoted over 50 years of her life to the Choir, as a Pianist, Sunday School Teacher, The Altar Guild, The Bell Choir, Vacation Bible School, and The Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church Association. She also served the community of Bowmanstown as a crossing guard for the Palmerton Area School District. Marilyn's family was the greatist part of her life and she enjoyed spending time with them and supporting their endeavors. Survivng are three sons, Lester D. "Butch" and his wife Louise of Bowmanstown Pa., Eric T. and his wife Wendy of Boiling Springs, Pa., Conrad A. "Smokey" and his wife Nancy of Medina, Ohio, 5 brothers, Arlington and his wife Joanne of Phoenix, Arizona, Lawrence and his wife Betty of Lehighton, Gerald & his wife Joan of Huntington Beach, California, Glenn and his wife Kathleen of Palmerton, John and his wife Marci of Palmerton, 10 Grandchildren, 12 Greatgrandchildren, Nieces & Nephews. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 6th at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church 500 Ore Street, Bowmanstown, Pa with the Reverend John J.Keiter Jr. officiating. Friends and relatives are invited to attend the visitation from 9-10:30 Sat. at the church. The interment will follow the services in Dinkey Memorial Cemetery, Ashfield, Pa.
