Clyde N. Christman 89 formerly of 202 Main St. Walnutport, Pa. passed away Feb.2nd at the Summit of Blue Mtn. Health System's Gnaden Huetten Campus. He was the husband of the late Hilda Oberholtzer Christman. Born in Trachsville, he was the son of the late Norman & Alvena Florence May Christman. After serving as a corporal with the US Marine Corps during WWII Clyde was employed by the Bethlehem Steel Corporation as en engineer on the narrow gauge railroad. Clyde was of the Christian Faith and was a life member of The Lehigh Fire Co. #1 and a life member of the Lehighton American Legion Post 314. Surviving is a daughter, Connie wife of David C. Kunkle of Palmerton and a son Rudy Christman and his wife Judith of Walnutport., 6 Grandchildren, 6 Greatgrandchildren, Nieces & Nephews. At the request of Mr. Christman, services & interment will be private.
