Dean A. Muthard 74, of 727 Lehigh Street, Bowmanstown, formerly of East Penn Township passed away Sunday, January 31st at the residence of his common law wife Constance Pitts after losing his battle with Lung Cancer. Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Earl & Lillian Andrews Muthard. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a construction worker for Calenti Construction Co. Easton, Pa. He attended Dinkey Memorial Lutheran Church, Ashfield, Pa. Surviving in addition to his common law wife Constance is a daughter Gail, wife of George Weaver of Lehighton, 1 brother Wilbur Muthard of Delps, Pa., 2 Grandsons Cole M. & Travis D., 1 stepson and daughter in law Gary & Shirley Gruber and stepgrandchildren, Steven Gruber & Tara (Gruber) Albertson. He was predeceased in death by a wife Delores Heckman Muthard and 1 son John D. Muthard . Services will be held Thursday, Feb. 4th at 10:30 a.m. at The Andrew P. Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton with SALM Emma Weaver officiating. Call 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
